Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Membership Grades
As a member of ITE, you join a dynamic, interactive group of more than 17,000 transportation professionals spanning more than 90 countries dedicated to solving today’s transportation challenges.
Students can join ITE as a Student Member and ITE will waive dues for the first full year of membership! Students can join ITE online using the following link or downloading and submitting this application.
ITE International Members of any grade (Student, Member, Fellow, and Honorary) are direct Members of the ITE Puerto Rico Section.

ITE Puerto Rico Section Local Affiliate Grades
You can join the Puerto Rico Section as a Local Affiliate in one of two levels:
Technical Affiliate: person engaged in professional transportation engineering work that is in the process of accumulating experience toward ITE International Membership; or person engaged in sub-professional transportation engineering work; or professionals in transportation-related fields that, by virtue of stature or official position, can contribute to the work of transportation engineers and who are members of another professional society.
Commercial Affiliate: person engaged in commerce or industry that come into frequent contact with transportation engineers and who thus have an interest in the profession and are in a position to work with and assist transportation engineers.
